DirectX 11 - Point Lights
If the point light is inside first cube (left to right order), shouldn't it be brighter, because it is the source light (like sun)? +[http://www.braynzarsoft.net/image/100284][Cubes] PS: Sorry for my bad english - Not a native speaker PPS: Hope this time I posted in the right section

No. The reason is because the face/vertex normals are facing away from the light source, which means the lighting algorithm will only use the ambient lighting (basically its the base amount of light) Thanks for posting in the questions section btw~ **EDIT:** In case you wanted to know how to make the left cube bright with the light inside it, you will have to reverse the normals on that cube, then it should appear to be brighter than the right cube
